This Setup Guide presumes the following:

• You already have downloaded, installed and launched Remote Buddy.
• Your Mac® and iPhone™/iPod® Touch are both connected wirelessly to the same WLAN network.
• Your setup meets all requirements for the usage of the AJAX Remote.

1/4: Open Preferences

Open the Preferences of Remote Buddy.

2/4: Enable AJAX Remote

Select "AJAX Remote" from the toolbar and set the checkbox in front of "Enable AJAX Remote".

3/4: Set a password

You now have to set a password for the AJAX Remote. Enter the password you want to use in the highlighted field.

4/4: Access AJAX Remote in Safari®

The AJAX Remote is now ready to use. To access it, please first enter the Bonjour® URL in the address field of Safari® on your iPhone™/iPod® Touch. If a connection can't be established, try the other URLs - one at a time. If no connection can be made to one of the URLs, your network does not meet the requirements for the usage of the AJAX Remote (in that case, our Network Guide may be of help to you).
