Yes. Remote Buddy also supports IR receivers following the eHome 2005 standard. With the help of those, the Apple Remote can also be used with Remote Buddy on Macs without built-in IR receiver. Many of the popular Keyspan receivers are also supported by Remote Buddy and with its help allow you to use the Apple Remote with your Mac.
