Re: Wake up with Keyspan Express

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
Hi Heiko,

thanks for letting me know. I'm not sure, however, whether I can make
this work. Reason is, Remote Buddy's drivers are operating from user
space and are not kernel extensions. That has a number of advantages
(high stability, high security, mostly independant of Kernel API
changes) but I have doubts that a system could be woken up from a
userspace driver, since it would basically require the application to
run while the system is sleeping. Another possibility could be that I
missed a small detail when initializing the receiver. I'll put it on
the Todo list and do indepth research on possible solutions as soon
as possible.

Not pretty, but a working and quick workaround: plugging and
unplugging the receiver will wake up your mini, too.

Best regards,
Felix
