Hi Felix,

I experience the same problem. 
This is what i tried :

I went to system preferences > Accounts > Login items.

First i choose Remote buddy as a login item , and then Eye TV.(i want to start eye tv automatically)

Now you should say that when booting , Remote buddy takes control over de remote first

Out of my mind , i think this is indeed is the case the first time , but after a second boot, later on , i notice that Remote Buddy is disappeared out of the login item - list.

So , again , habe the same problem of eye tv taking over control.

How come ?
