thanks for your email.

A handful of users have reported this issue and I'm looking into it. 
Apple seems to have changed quite a bit of things regarding how they 
handle the Apple Remote.

For now, the solution seems to be to deactivate and then reactivate 
the Apple Remote in the menu.

Just out of curiosity: do you start Remote Buddy during system 
startup as well? Or by yourself - and only afterwards?
