This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
 
Which remote control are you using? If it's the Wiimote or you're 
using an eHome receiver, you can bring back your old options by 
renaming the respective 
com.iospirit.remotebuddy.....plist file to the respectively new 
identifier.

You can easily retrieve the correct name by having a look at the date 
of the files. The change of identifiers was necessary to bring 
everything down to a common namespace.

 
Felix, I'm not really sure what you're explaining. I use the Apple Remote on an Intel Mini Core Duo with built-in IR receiver.

But no matter, the bug I described only occurred when I upgraded from RC1 to RC2. When you updated RC2 from Preview 13 (I think?) to the latest P15, I did not see my settings reset anymore. A-OK!
