Hello Jacopo,

thanks for asking.

The problem is solved since Preview 14 / RC2 with the Remote Buddy
kernel extension. Please make use of the Remote Buddy Setup Wizard to
install it and permanently solve the problem.

The RB Kernel Extension is the only clean, reliable, system conform
way I know of and it does not mess around, remove, move and/or modify
your OS X system files and configuration. It's a true, clean
solution, not a hack. It even exclusively gives you access to
otherwise not accessible features of your receiver/remote.

More info regarding these features in the FAQ.

Other "solutions" or "fixes" that have been brought to my attention
actually aren't. A solution for me does have to solve a problem
without creating new problems. That's the whole point with solutions ;-)

So, you can safely ignore them.
