Re: VLC behaviour suggestions: file browser

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
I tried the above suggestion, and it's great! It's very nice to be able to open my files so quickly, without navigating the file tree.

I'm having a small problem, though, and I just can't figure out what I need to fix.

I have my "TV" directory as part of my VLC context menu. If I choose a file in this directory, I get the standard menu to choose the application to open - when I choose VLC, the file is opened and plays correctly, but VLC is not activated within Remote Buddy - I'm still on the menu that lets me choose the app.

How do I make VLC activate when I choose a file? I also have "TV" directory as part of my main profile menu, when I choose a file starting here, VLC is activated in RB properly. What is different in these 2 cases?

I hope my question is clear.

Thanks for a truly spectacular product,
Tracey
