Hi Quirilio,

thanks for asking.

You can wake a sleeping Mac mini with built-in IR receiver with your
Apple Remote.

You can not switch it on using the Apple Remote, though. The receiver
is internally connected via USB and does - as far as I know - not get
any power until the computer is powered on.
