This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
This is something I've noticed as well. After waking from sleep my Mac mini (CoreDuo -1.66 GHz) does not respond to the remote at all. The only fix is to restart the computer with the mouse.

It started to occur after I installed Leopard. So, I don't know if this is a Leopard bug or a compatibility problem with Remote Buddy and Leopard.

I have not installed version 1.8 yet and have been using 1.7.4.
