Hello AleX,

like Finder, Remote Buddy asks Launch Services for applications able 
to launch a file, uses that list and makes it available through the 
menu. If you have backups or copies of software laying around, Launch 
Services will add them to the list. As Mac users are free to place 
their applications in a location of their choice, it's not possible 
for Remote Buddy - and often also not wanted by the user - to filter 
the results provided by Launch Services.

Do you use Time Machine? (one feature of Leopard I haven't tried, yet, 
but which may create a lot of copies of your software)
