This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.

Just as a follow-up:
I deleted all my behaviours and re-created them from scratch, and now everything works as advertised. So I would say that the problem I was experiencing might be due to incompatibility between behaviours created with older versions of buddy and newer versions of the software.
