Hi Navin,
since Remote Buddy can't take any effect on the performance or pairing
of Bluetooth devices in the kernel (the Bluetooth kernel API is not
documented, so you also can't write drivers for it or control it in
any way), I can't see how Remote Buddy could influence pairing, let
alone crash your computer.
Could you please send me the panic logs located at
/Library/Logs/PanicReporter/ (OS 10.5.x)
/Library/Logs/panic.log (OS 10.4.x)
and a system profile (start /Applications/Utilities/System
Profiler.app > Save as.. > Send the file saved) to info@iospirit.com
respectively, so I can have a look and forward them to Apple?
You can turn off Remote Buddy's Bluetooth driver support btw, by
turning off the option of Remote Buddy searching for remotes on
startup (=> Preferences > Hardware > Bluetooth Receiver).
If you wish, I can also send you an older version in reply to that
email.
Best regards,
Felix Schwarz
