This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
I'm afraid this is not possible.

You can force a reboot by entering

sudo shutdown -r now

into Terminal.app, yet it requires you to enter your superuser / 
root / admin password or set the suid bit on the shutdown command. 
None of both is recommendable or really viable imo.
