Thanks for asking.

This is a system setting. To change it, please make sure that
"English" is listed before "German" in

System Preferences.app > International / "Country settings" > Languages

The list should look like this:

French
English
....

Right now, it probably looks like this:

French
...
German
...
English
...

which is why OS X will pick the German locale over the English one.
Changing the order will change the language OS X will pick the next
time you start Remote Buddy.
