Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. Not sure if this will will in anyway clarify or further the mystery but I'm not sure that its causes the internet connection to crash rather it is causing the Time Capsule to disconnect from the network and it can not be reconnected unless powered off and rebooted. The mini that is running RB is connected to the TC via ethernet.

However your mention of bluetooth issues has reminded me that after many months of trouble free use the problems have roughly coinsided with the use of a new bluetooth keyboard. That said if I don't run RB but use the keyboard I don't have a problem, I will check whether it works the other way round to see if its some kind of combination of the two running together at startup. It doesn't make much sense does it?
