Thanks for asking.

I don't think that the MotionPlus could help at all with improving the
accuracy of the mouse mode. The mouse mode is dependant on the IR
sensor on the front of the remote, on whose resolution and accuracy
the MotionPlus does not have any influence on as far as I can see.
