I have the same set up as you do. Dual screens, a PS3 remote, and I work on one screen, watch on the other.

You would have to make each action yourself and then

• uncheck "Activate application and bring it to front" 
• check "send event directly to this application"

What I did is create a new behavior and input all the actions there. If you want I can share that with you, it'll probably save you quite some time ;)
