Yes, both can wake your Mac as long as they have an active connection 
to your Mac at the time the Mac went to sleep. Which is likely to not 
always be the case, because battery time of Bluetooth remotes is 
limited.

Therefore, I wouldn't recommend a Bluetooth remote if the only purpose 
you want to buy them for is to wake your Mac from sleep. A proprietary 
solution like the Keyspan RF Remote (which - to the system - is 
nothing but a USB keyboard) has much longer battery life, because it 
doesn't need to spend any power on keeping a high-level (Bluetooth 
protocol) connection alive.
