The preferences user interface currently still displays the old 
version of the remote module of the AJAX Remote, which had two buttons 
for each button. One for "short click of this button" and one for 
"hold this button on first touch, release it on second touch". At the 
time, this was necessary because of the very limited feature set of 
Mobile Safari.

Today, Mobile Safari offers the functionality needed to determine when 
a touch begins and when it ends. The remote control module could be 
streamlined accordingly. The number of actually available buttons and 
the functionality remains identical - it has just become more pleasent 
and intuitive to use.

The next version of Remote Buddy will have updated illustrations.
