open a entire folder to browse a picture gallery (wishlist)

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.

I think there is currently no way to browse thru a picture gallery. xbmc and other solutions are not realy nice.

My idea is to open the preview app and then a folder with the regarding content. preview app simply opens all pictures as a stack and next and back button you can surf the gallery. And now we have a real mediacenter solution in one hand.

My dream is to browse with cover flow feature and open files and folders with the linked applications.
