Thanks for asking.

Right now Remote Buddy dynamically discovers which devices are
attached to your Mac and gives the Apple IR Receiver precendence for
the Apple Remote because it offers the most functionality for it
(especially wakeup, something MCE receivers usually don't support with
an Apple Remote). The status of the receivers therefore can't be saved
at this time.
