Re: Re: BT Problems with 10.5.6

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
Thanks for the info.

You can remove the superfluous debug output of the driver by following
the instructions from my last post.

Regarding the output of blued, Apple's Bluetooth Daemon, I'm afraid
that it's the usual status messages it outputs to the logfile, that
which I can do nothing about.

Since the Wii Remote (unlike the Sony PS3 BD Remote) doesn't advertise
itself to Apple's Bluetooth stack and no notification is available of
when it is ready to establish a connection, Remote Buddy has to "poll"
by trying to open a new connection to the Wii Remote every couple
seconds. If the Wii Remote is turned on, it will establish the
connection. If it is turned off, the connection fails and the indirect
consequence can be that you get a logfile entry as you've posted.

BTW, are these many entries for the same second really in your
logfile? Or did you copy and paste these from Console.app. I ask
because there is a bug in Console.app that displays what is really
only one entry multiple times (which can be highly confusing when
following a logfile).

Usually, clicking on the Reload/Refresh button of Console.app returns
you to the actual logfile contents, though.

Best regards,
Felix Schwarz
