Re: Re: MythTv Mutliple key sends

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
Well, this is how it is defined and how events are sent. How an
application decides to handle these events is not within Remote
Buddy's control. But Remote Buddy offers a number of options on how
keyboard events should be issued, so you can select the way that can
be best handled by the target application.

Please try the following:

1) Go to Prefs > Mapping > MythTVFrontEnd, then repeat the following
steps for both the up and down buttons

2) Select "Custom actions.." for the respective button

3) Create an action that sends the up and down cursor keys to the
application and play with
a) the different methods keyboard events can be emulated in reaction
to button presses (under "Method")
b) the minimum interval between events (the field below the "Method"
popup)

You can test how the action behaves with the three test buttons on the
bottom.

Please let me know your results. If I know what is best handled by
MythTVFrontEnd, I can adapt the MythTVFrontEnd Behaviour accordingly.

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,
Felix Schwarz
