This shouldn't be happening and just now I don't see any logical explaination for this.

Please provide me with this information, so I can get a better idea of what might be causing this:

- your Mac model 
- whether (and if - which) external IR receiver you use 
- the version of OS X, Remote Buddy and EyeTV you're using 
- the EyeTV hardware you're using 
- whether you customized the mapping settings in Remote Buddy (and if yes, what actions are assigned to the buttons for EyeTV at Prefs > Behaviours > EyeTV)
