This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
You're right that with regards to Front Row, Remote Buddy does employ 
some special handling to detect whether it's active - and when it 
stops being active. Just checking for the front most application is - 
in fact - not enough when supporting Front Row directly.

The situation where Front Row is being killed is not currently 
handled, though. The next release, however, will be able to handle 
this and react accordingly. I just added the respective code.
