Thanks for the reply. I used Apple Remote to check the buttons and everything did what it was supposed to. I then checked the console.log and discovered that Acrobat 7.0 was generating all kinds of invalid color messages, so I thought this might be the problem. I updated to Acrobat 7.0.8 and the errors went away but there are no Remote Buddy errors and the plus sign still does nothing and the minus sign still brings up the help menu. The submenu is still unreachable. Also, other programs work fine including powerpoint. It may just be this version of Acrobat standard.
