Joost behaviour start Front Row
View

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
Hi,
I have little problem with joost and remote buddy.
Every time i push menu-button opens joost's menu but also front row. Any solutions for that? I can give more information if needed, now I can tell only in joost behaviour menu button is mapped for virtual menu menu button and I use Leopard.

Thanks for the info.

The problem affects all applications using Martin Kahr's wrapper class
which does use the wrong information from the events coming from the
system to gain the info on which button was pressed. This is why Front
Row will react and Joost won't.

The current implementation of Remote Buddy's Apple Remote emulation
does only contain workarounds to support previous versions of said
wrapper class. I'm already working on a workaround to also support
applications using the updated version of the wrapper class.

I do plan to provide free BSD-licensed sample code on how to access
the IR receiver from applications in a fashion that works across
system versions in the future.

Best regards,
Felix
