In music browser when I choose browse by album/artist/song etc. I get list of latin letters. Mey be it is possible to add some preferences (or simply index all songs) to show there other letters as I have a lot of music with cyrillic letters, so the only way now to browse them is All menu?

And also in ajax remote there is a problem with search by cyrillic letters. It just shows "No items matching %u0448%u0435%u0441%u0442%u044C found." So I think there is no decoding of url was performed.

All songs that don't start with a letter from latin A - Z should be 
present in the "0-9" category. I don't know a definitive answer to 
solving this general problem with special characters (from a European 
perspective, I don't mean to discriminate other alphabet systems), but 
I'll keep it in mind.

Excuse my total lack of knowledge on cyrillic characters, but how many 
of them exist - and do they have a latin counterpart?

There are a lot of cyrillic letters in different languages (you can see them all on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Cyrillic_letters). 
It is not the best way to add them all, as some of them can not be first in words, some are rare. So it will be the best solution to index songs or add some preferencies (may be without GUI) to edit set of letters in this menus. 
Also as you can see some of letters are similar to latin, but not all of them. There is way to translate cyrillic to latin symbols, but not always one-to-one (this is called transliteration (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Romanization_of_Belarusian for example)) 
Elso I've just found that all tracks, that start with non-latin letters apear in 0-9 section
