Support for USB controllers

Hi, I would like to request support for USB controllers (for example joypads, or more in general any HID devices)? Is that something that is being considered?

Thanks

I asked this question a year and a half ago. Supposedly it's on the "to-do" list.

This proposed feature is the sole reason why I purchased a license. I was hoping that my money could go to a good cause and possibly nudge the author into adding this and possibly PS3 Sixaxis support.

Sadly, I'm still waiting and my copy of RemoteBuddy sits collecting dust. RB is useless to me until I can control my Mac, launch emulators, and play games all with the same input device.

I still have faith that Felix will come through. I'd even gladly purchase another license just to see this feature added.

It still is on my todo list.

Since I'm currently 'evaluating' RB and would also be interested in support for USB controllers, I'm curious to know why you say RB is useless to you without the ability to do just that? Couldn't you use a single remote device with RB for doing everything except actually 'playing' then just pick up the USB cotroller when time to play? That would/will be my solution. :-)

I'd be curious to know what your preferred RB-free solution is. I must admit, I can't think of one!

USB controllers would be nice, but what I would love to see is control of my audio receiver and TV via RS232 serial to USB adapter. RS232 commands for all equipped devices are downloadable and this seems like a VERY powerful addition to RB if it is possible. What do you think Felix?
