iPhone Remote for Front Row on HD-TV sound from iPhone Earphones

I don't have an iPhone yet, but was thinking about getting one. I 
already have Remote Buddy and use it with my Harmony remote with my 
Mac Mini which I use as a media server. The iPhone looks like a great 
remote for this situation but was wondering if I could use the 
earphones and iphone remote to watch TV late at night with the 
headphone connected to the iphone.

The iPhone's browser does not support streaming live audio or video, 
so this is currently neither supported nor possible.
