MacBook Keyboard input ignored during Wiimote IR mouse movement
View

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
I use Wiimote to control cursor on my MacBook screen via head tracking. However, whenever there is any Wiimote mouse movement, built-in keyboard input is ignored until the cursor is absolutely still.

Is it possible to turn this off, so that I can type while the mouse cursor is moving?

Thanks for your posting.

I've looked at the code and could not find anything that would give me
any control about whether or not concurrent keyboard entries are
possible or not. I'm afraid this is simply how Apple designed the
Remote Desktop APIs.

The only parameters it takes are

- new mouse cursor postion
- move onscreen mouse cursor, too
- state of mouse buttons (pressed / released)

None of these relate to allowing or disallowing keyboard entries.
