Native iPhone version?
View

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
Hi IOSPIRIT & fellow forum guys.

What are the chances of seeing a native iPhone version of RemoteBuddy?

I think it would give you so many extra functionalities and the way the app responses would be more the same as any other native iPhone App.

For instance - when you want to move sliders you have to do it different (by pointing where you want it in stead of dragging.

From a technical viewpoint, Remote buddy (installed on the mac to be controlled) should "just" be able to receive queries and return .. well xml or maybe some more optimized).

What are your thoughts?

Kindly,

Jesper

Thanks for asking.

All I can say is that - yes - I'm developing a native Remote Buddy
client and that it's my intention to make it available for free.

As with regards to the availability and it being available for free, I
can only talk about my honest intentions, though, as anything else
would be pure speculation.

Although I'm optimistic, I can't promise or guarantee anything as, at
the end of the day, it's Apple, not me, who is to make the decision of
accepting/rejecting the app into their AppStore.

Best regards,

Hi,

I wonder, is it too soon to ask if the Apple App Store accepted your new version? I hope you'll find the time to tell us how its going. :o)
