I find xbmc in the list of supported applications.

But there is no behaviour in RemoteBuddy settings available. With the LSrefresh tool I havenīt any effects.

Iīm using mac mini intel 1,66GHZ, Leopard. xbmc latest release.

Any ideas?
Thanks Christian

Thanks for asking.

OSXBMC changed its name to Plex and has a different bundle identifier
(even if the app name may still be XBMC.app - which certainly will
also be changed shortly). Due to the changed bundle identifier, Plex
can't be recognized by the OSXBMC Behaviour shipping with Remote Buddy.

A new Behaviour for Plex is already available, though. Please run the
Online Updater of Remote Buddy to download and install it.

Thanks, but I have already the latest Remote Buddy release. XBMC ist also in RB Plugins directory but not to find in settings section. Maybe should I reinstall RB?

The current distribution DMG does not include the Plex Behaviour.
Therefore, it is currently made available seperately through the
Online Updater.

Hello,
today I downloaded xbmc (http://xbmc.org/); I don't know if it is the same as OSXMBC you are talking here, but appės name is exactly "xbmc.app".
This version (beta 1) is out since a few days so maybe somthing changed again :-(
XBMC simply doesn't show up in behaviour list; although the matching behaviour is present in RB's resources. Using lsRefresh and automatic update didn't solve the problem.
I'm using Mac Os 10.5.5 on intel machine.
Could you please check this out? Should I wait for the next update for this fix?
Thanks a lot and keep RB being great!

Riccardo,

thanks for asking. This is not a bug:

OSXBMC has changed name to Plex a while ago. You can find Plex at
plexapp.com. It's a fork of XBMC.

The XBMC project itself has released their own version for OS X. That
release of its own is not supported by the current release of Remote
Buddy, but I'm aware of that and already in talks with the XBMC project.

Thanks Felix, I will give plex a look.
In fact I don\'t care if it is xbmc or Plex, as long as it is a good replacement for Frontrow.
As a happy customer I\'m glad to see there is such a nice and fast support.

Felix,

Any chance of getting a copy of the plex behaviour but associated with XBMC.app as I'm testing out a version that doesn't conflict with remote buddy but cannot control it, presumably for lack of having a behaviour associated with it.

Is it straight forward to just copy the behaviour myself from one app to another?

Cheers

Jim,

thanks for asking.

A pre-made Behaviour for XBMC is currently not shipping with Remote
Buddy. I'm still in talks with the XBMC developers about the best way
to integrate support for XBMC.
