Ich habe auf meinem Rechner Leopard installiert (ein "Clean Install" um mal so richtig aufzuräumen). Nun möchte ich auch weiterhin Remote Buddy benutzen, aber meine umfangreichen Einstellungen, speziell die Belegung meiner Sony BD Remote, nicht erneut eingeben. Reicht es aus, alle Dateien wie im FAQ "Wie deinstalliere ich Remote Buddy? (FAQ015E0188)" angegeben 1:1 zu kopieren? Oder ist es besser, eine neue Installation zu machen. Wie bekäme ich denn dann meine Tastenbelegungen zurück?

How can I increase battery life? (FAQ015E0232)
To increase battery life for the Sony® BD Remote, you should turn on the power saving options Remote Buddy offers. You can find them at Remote Buddy Preferences > Hardware > Bluetooth Receiver.
These settings are recommended:
General
Search for paired remotes on startup: On.
Stop searching for paired remotes after max .. minutes: Off.
Display pairing instructions and status messages: Off. If you experience problems, you should turn this option back on to aid you in debugging the problem.

Energy saving
Automatically disconnect remotes after inactivity of more than .. minute(s): On, value of 1 minute.
Disconnect remotes when computer goes to sleep: On. The potential power saving with this option is huge. But as the warning says, this will not work with all computers: if you can't wake up your computer with your remote after turning this option on, please turn it off again.

Please only post questions in English to this forum, so everybody can
benefit from the answers.

To move your settings from one OS install to another OS install, all
you have to do is copy your settings over as found at

~/Library/Preferences/com.iospirit.*

to the same location on your other computer. Should you also have
created Behaviours of your own, also copy this directory to the same
location on your new computer:

~/Library/Application Support/Remote Buddy/
