Is it possible to use Remote Buddy on my iPhone as a baby monitor? I've figured out how to view my iSight on the iPhone, but I can't get audio. Can that be done?

Thanks,
Thad

Thanks for asking.

The iPhone's version of Safari does not have any live audio streaming
support, so the AJAX Remote can't offer that functionality either.
Sorry.

Apart from that, Remote Buddy should not be used as a baby monitor,
btw (=> see Remote Buddy license, last paragraph of point 2). No other
software should be used for it, either. The complexity of any iPhone
based solution (Server software => Mac OS X => Mac => wireless router
=> iPhone and its energy saving mechanisms (including shutdown of the
WiFi connection after 30 minutes depending on your and the
application's settings) => browser software => ..) is going to be
relatively high and will offer too many possibilities / points of
failure for such a usage scenario.

Best regards,

Thanks for the reply. I agree that this set-up should not be relied on as a lifeline to my napping baby, but I would still like to make it work somehow.
