File names should be abbreviated in the middle

I love the file browser of Remote Buddy, especially the ability to pick what program you want to open a file with. But, alas, file names are abbreviated at the end (via an ellipsis) if the name is too long to fit. This is a problem if the end of the file name contains important information (such as the number of an episode).

I don't like this idea... if you need to see episode numbers why not use something like Plex? Not only will you be able to see episode numbers, you'll also see thumbnails and other episode metadata ;)

Middle truncation always messes up everything else, I'm not a fan :'(

Well, that's how the Finder does it, too. If a file name is too long and you have no choice but to abbreviate it, I think it is a good idea to show at least a little of the end of the name. I don't care much for file name animation, but center dots, I like.
