Can I maintain the directory hierarchy in the movie library?

I have my movies organized into several subdirectories, to make it easy to search/browse (ie, /Videos/movies, /Videos/TV shows, /Videos/home movies, etc).

Is there any way to maintain this directory structure in the Movie Library? The media browser simply flattens it into a single list of all folders containing a VIDEO_TS folder, throwing out my organization.

I tried adding a file browser to the DVD player menu (even going so far as to drag the root folder to the menu), but that doesn't do much for me - I can browse the directory structure, but I can't do anything once I navigate to the VIDEO_TS folder (I can't tell DVD player to "play this folder").

Thanks for asking.

Right now, it is not possible to split up the built-in Video Library
by directory, sorry. It's an interesting idea, though.
