AJAX remote - Can it wake/sleep computers?

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
Hey all, just downloaded Remote Buddy for my MacBook in preparation for the iPhone launch on Friday over in the UK...

A quick question though..

At the moment, I'm using my Apple remote to wake my Macbook (Which is hooked up to a TV), then use my mouse to connect to my iMac's 'movies' folder, then use my Apple remote again to access Front Row (And in turn, the iMac's movie folder)...

Ideally, I wanna cut out all the messing around and use my iPhone (when I get it) to do all the above... I know that you can use it as a mouse pointer on the desktop etc, so that allows the connection to the iMac, and obviously the Front Row control is there, but I'd want to cut out the waking up stage... Can the AJAX remote functionality allow the iPhone to wake up a MacBook? Or will I have to use the Apple remote to do so?
