iPod touch remote and suggestion for presentation interface

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
Hi guys,

just tried out the new AJAX interface for my iPod touch: GREAT!

I have a suggestion for you, though: since this device lacks tactile feedback, and everyone who has presented something with a remote knows that you can't stare at your remote every slide you change to be sure to press the right button, I suggest you to make a WHOLE page split in two buttons: forward and backward. As of now, the general «Remote control» pages has too many buttons, and even the «quasi-dedicated» Trackpad page has two too much small buttons.
So, let's use the full power of what Jobso called «a GIANT screen» (Macworld '06).

Another thing: when I present something, I use to walk around a bit and gesticulate so much, and it is a really annoyance that the interface continuosly tilts between portrait and landscape mode. I know this has been a killer feature when browsing the Internet, but here I need STABILITY. So, (at least) an opt-out would be appreciated.

Please, let me know what do you think.
