Using custom behaviours

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
I am not sure what I am supposed to do to create a custom behaviour.
I created a new behaviour for an application of mine, associated the application bundle and specified a few actions for the apple remote.
But when I exit the Beh.Constr.Kit and go into preferences, I can find the behaviour nowhere, and am thus unable to add it to my profile.
I tried restarting RB and the mac, but no change.
What am I doing wrong?
