Start RB command directly (with Logitech Harmony)

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
Hi, I'm new to RB and not used to all details yet. What I didn't found out yet is if there is an option that I can start a command directly from my Harmony remote with some kind of shortcut...

What I want to reach is that I can define a button on my Harmony Remote that e.g. sets the Mac to sleep.

I've solved this so far by adding a key sequence (macro) to my Harmony, something like
- Menü
- Direction Up
- Direction Up
- Direktion Up
- Play
that simualtes the order of what I have to do with RB to set the Mac to sleep.

This works so far but isn't there another way to do it?

Another example would be to start XBMC with the Harmony. But with the approach above I'm limited as the order of apps and therefore the needed pushes of "Direction down" changes accordingly to the Behaviours I activate... As a workaround for this, I've renamed XBMC behaviour to _XBMC so it is always the first behaviour in the list.

Any tips to do this in a smarter way?

Thanks a lot...
