Hi Felix
Thanks for the prompt reply.
I think we are misunderstanding each other. What I meant was that no
matter what application I'm in, when I press the "Enter" button, it
call up EyeTV's menu system and not RB's. Because I've never got it
working I'm not sure what exactly the RB's menu system is, but I
imagine it is something whereby you choose an application to go into
and then that application is controlled via the remote handset.
My receiver is a 400/410 so as far as it goes I have all the correct
software/hardware combination.
Maybe it is something really simple I've not done. Is there an
activation 'switch' I've missed turning on? Should I perhaps not have
'Virtual Receiver' turned on?etc...
I really hope I can get this to work because I will definitely buy
this if it does.
Regards
Bernard

If EyeTV is the active application, the behaviour of your remote
control will not be any different by default.
By default:
- when in EyeTV, pressing and holding the "menu" button will bring up
the Remote Buddy menu.
- when using a directly supported app, a short press of the "menu"
button will bring up the Remote Buddy menu.
Please have a look at the dedicated "EyeTV receivers" page to find out
which key on your remote is the "menu" button. For silver remotes with
EyeTV label, this is the button labeled "Enter".
Other than that, the only other reason why it wouldn't work would be
that you are using a - as of yet - unsupported receiver:

All TV products from Elgato are supported in conjunction with their
bundled remote control (currently still except products of the EyeTV
lines 250, 250 Plus, 300/310, 400/410, 500, 610) as well as TV sticks
by TerraTec and Pinnacle shipping with EyeTV.

Please provide me with more details on your hardware setup if this
does not already answer your question.
Best regards,
Felix
