can I use AJAX...and apple remote just for frontrow?

I am happy with my AJAX remote, but the remote buddy software has changed the behaviour of my Apple remote. Can I change the remote buddy preferences in such a way that my I can use my AJAX side-by-side with the Apple remote, and the Apple remote controls Frontrow in the way it used to?

Thanks for asking.

Please have a look at the (only) feature linked from bottom of the
Remote Buddy website main page for instructions on how to just "pass
through" the Apple Remote events. That'll give you exactly what you
are seeking to do.

Best regards,
Felix

Thanks Felix,

However when I select Apple Remote under Hardware, I get a "No options available for the remote control" message.

Please kindly advise.

Thanks for letting me know.

I have to update that page. The settings in question moved to Mapping

Global mapping.

Another option, new in V1.8.5, is to not install / uninstall Remote
Buddy's drivers. Without the driver installed, Remote Buddy will only
offer purely software based remotes (like the AJAX Remote and Hotkey
Remote).

Best regards,
Felix
