RB doesn't work after awake

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
HI, I have bought RB to use my new mac mini as a HTPC. It's a wonderful app, but I have a major problem.

I'm on a fresh leopard 10.5.1 install, with eyetv, vlc and other media apps.

I've set up RB with my apple remote, it works really well, but it doesn't respond when I awake the mini from sleep.

The remote correct awake the mac, but then it doesn't work.

RB is open in the dock, and if I use the mouse it works (I can change prefs or similar), but all the remote buttons are unusable. I must quit RB, then launch it and the system begins workings again.

Is a really big problem, because I must close the application using the mouse, but I don't want to take the mouse plugged on my HTPC system.

I've searched on the forum, but I haven't found a solution.

thanks all for the reply.

I've found the problem, but I don't know how to solve it.

I'll write down here, because it can be useful to find a solution:

If I use the "put your computer to sleep" behaviour with my apple remote, when I awake again, RB doesn't work and I must quit and launch again to get it works.

If I manually put the computer to sleep (by apple menu, or pressing the power button), when it awakes, RB and the remote works correctly.

This problem stems from two bugs in Leopard's refreshed IOUSBFamily
(namely power management and user clients).

Remote Buddy Version 1.8.5 (just released) features a completely
redesigned driver that works around these bugs.

Best regards,
