Hi! Just downloaded RB yesterday and excited about the prospects of the perfect completion to my MacMini HTPC solution :)

The thing that interests me most (compared say to Mira, which I'm also currently evaluating ;-) ) is it's support for the EyeTV remote. I've stumbled right into my first problem though. I'm sure it's easy to solve (to be honest I'm still trying to get my head around it all) but it's a bit of a showstopper right now...

After exiting the full screen menu of EyeTV, how do I invoke the RB menu again? Pressing the Select button just opens up the EyeTV full screen menu again. I think (I can't check right now) the EyeTV behaviour defines 'Select (hold)' but this doesn't seem to work for me.

In fact, thinking this through... ideally I wouldn't even want leave the EyeTV menu... best of all would be if I could invoke RB and switch directly to Front Row or other HTPC frontend such as XHub or Media Central. I guess that must be possible?

Cheers,
Rich

PS. I've just read https://secure.iospirit.com/index.php?mode=service&modmode=forums&forum_id=11&sid=5324731Gb010144aaf5ed496&clshop_id=4&o_forum_dmode=view&o_forum_forumentry_id=12058
which at least seems to confirm my suspicion that what I want to do should work 'out of the box', but I'm pretty sure it didn't work. I'll try again tonight, meanwhile still welcome any useful tips :)

By default, you have to perform a long press on the Select to open
Remote Buddy's menu while in EyeTV.

You can change this in Preferences > Mapping (=> please see the online
help for instructions).

Best regards,
Felix
