There is no relationship between the problem you see and Remote Buddy.
It's a general problem of Leopard on G5 machines:

My PowerMac G5 exposes the exact same symptoms you describe with an
absolutely pure, fresh install of Leopard with no additional software
(that includes Remote Buddy) installed at all.
The sdef messages you see relate to Remote Buddy's AppleScript
dictionary (or Scripting DEFinition) file. The provided sdef file is
valid XML, a valid sdef file and in fact AppleScript and Script Editor
can handle it fine, too. The sdef file describes the commands Remote
Buddy offers to AppleScripts and, too, has no relation to sleep.
