Permanently Enable Keyspan Receiver, Disable Built-In IR?
View

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
I have a Keyspan USB IR receiver, which works great with Remote Buddy and an Apple Remote. Since my Mac Mini is in a cabinet, I disable the built-in IR receiver and use the Keyspan receiver instead.

My problem is this: On every restart, RB disables the Apple Remote under the Keyspan Receiver and enables the built-in IR receiver and the Apple Remote under it. I have to use screen sharing to fix this, because the computer has no screen, mouse, or keyboard.

Is there any way to make this setting stick across reboots, so that the internal IR is always disabled and the Keyspan Receiver-->Apple Remote is always enabled? Thanks.

Hello Andrew,

noted down and I'll see what can be done.

Right now, there's no setting available for what you want to do.
