Using the Harmony 880 with built-in IR port
View

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
Hi everyone,

I spent today getting my Harmony 880 working with my mini's built-in IR port using the multi-remote feature of Remote Buddy.

I documented everything here:

http://funwithcomputers.wordpress.com/2008/03/01/using-the-harmony-880-remote-with-your-macs-built-in-ir-port/

and thought I would share with the community. Hope this saves some of you some time.

Wow, this is great, thanks for posting this info!

I am new to Harmony remotes and so far am loving it!

I have it all setup with my home entertainment stuff, but have yet to set it up with my iMac, so will look forwarding to going through all your info.

Excellent stuff!
