Presentation Remotes
View

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
Hi,

I'm testing out remote buddy (very impressive). I need to get a remote for doing Keynote presentations, and was not sure whether they were supported. I'm looking at some of the keyspan products. I can see that some keyspan products are listed in the hardware supported but not the ones for presentation (Keyspan Easy Presenter for example). Or am I looking in the wrong place?

Thanks
Brett

Hello Brett,

you're looking in the right place. The information on the website is
complete with regards to what hardware is supported. It's correct that
not all Keyspan products, but only those listed are supported.

I don't see much of a point in supporting the two or three button
presentation remotes. They simply don't have enough buttons to use any
of Remote Buddy's advanced features (like the menu).

Best regards,

Hi,

Thanks for the response. I want a remote that will work without line of sight, preferably through walls. That is why I looked at the RF remotes. I may be mistaken, but it seems that the supported ones are all IR, which is only line of sight, right?

If you can suggest an RF remote that you support, that would be great.

Cheers,
Brett

Hello Brett,

most supported Keyspan remotes operate via IR. The "Keyspan RF Remote
for Front Row", however, is also supported and operates via RF.
